This is a small but beautiful Chinese temple, very different from Thai temples around Chiang Mai. It has amazing decorative carvings colorfully painted. It was originally constructed in 1876. However it was in need of serious repair. In 1996, the Chinese community decided to renovate the temple in conjunction with the 700th anniversary of the founding of Chiang Mai. It is very nice to stop in and admire the beautiful colors of the temple and pay respect.
Directions: Located near the Nawarat Bridge and the Flower Market along the Ping River.
