La Cervaceria

I stopped by for lunch after a hike.  They have outdoor seating which is what I chose.  They make their own beer so I tried the Bock beer.  This was the first decent beer I had in Argentina!  I also ordered three empanadas but they’re bigger than the average empanada, and could have got by with only two.  I had the spicy meat, suave and mozzarella/spinach.  The beef were great!  A good place to go after hiking!

Ended up going here two more times during trip for those beef empanadas and bock beer!  An awesome place to hang out and the beer is really good.

Vain Boutique Hotel

I came across Vain Boutique Hotel by chance in a last minute effort to change hotels in the same night due to poor conditions.  Fortunately Vain had a vacancy and it was near the hotel I was leaving.  It was 11pm when I made the reservation online and they were waiting for me when I arrived 20 minutes later.  Very friendly staff!  The room was more than I expected.  Very clean and modern with a refrigerator, bottled water and wine to purchase in the room.  It had a small patio but the best part was the comfortable bed and the shower that had a complete glass ceiling.

There is only a few rooms per floor.  On the second floor is a common room that was comfortable and modern as well.  This is now my go-to hotel when ever in Buenos Aries.
