Chaltenos

Chaltenos is a small dessert shop that offers a great cup of coffee (according to my friend) and some excellent desserts (according to me).  There Dilce de Leche chocolate covered cookie was the best I had in Argentina.  They also had a homemade snack bar that was even better.  I picked these up on the way out of town.  Wish I would have known about the place when I arrived and I should have bought more for the road!  The shop is located on San Martins.

Yetal Pizza

Stopped in for some take out. I ordered the spaghetti and bolognese sauce.  It was ok, nothing special. My friend ordered a small pizza that was a little too cheesy and my other friend had an empanada, which she didn’t like at all.  Other pizza places in town now to try!

Maffia Trattoria

This is a small place and very popular with tourists. We had to wait nearly one hour for table. They only take reservations up to 7:30pm then it is a waiting list so arrive early. They have a great selection of wine that goes well with their pastas. I had the beef and spinach Cappelletti pasta in a Bolognese sauce. It was very good. The owners are very helpful and friendly.  A real joy to eat here, I would definitely come here again!
