May 2014: I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant so I looked for it on a map. It is in the old city and tucked away on a small side street in a residential area. I actually drove past it because it looked like a house. In a way it is. Dash! is also a Guest House. The owner was born in Thailand but lived in the United States for many years before returning to open this guest house and restaurant. She also offers cooking classes.
I started with a Thai potato puff, similar to a samosa. They were excellent. For the main course I had Pad See Eww. Another excellent dish. I was here for lunch and it was a little too much food. The portion on the main course was fairly large so no need for an appetizer unless you are really hungry.
They have indoor and outdoor seating. The side street they are on is very quiet. Not the best place if you like people watching as you eat but a nice place to relax.
