Crepe’s and Co has several locations in Bangkok. I visited the Langsuan location. It is in a wood house that is set back off the road. It is an old style house and nicely decorated inside as well as outside with their own parking lot.
They offer some set breakfast options and also made to order crepes. I chose the made to order style. They provide a check list form so you can select what filings you want in your crepe. I wanted to go the sweet direction and ordered mine with Nutella, banana and a chocolate syrup topping. I also saw they had fruit juices which included Papaya, so I ordered that as well being sure to ask if it included ice or was all papaya. I was told all papaya.
First for the crepe. I may not be an expert on crepes but the crepes I have had were always soft and delicious. However this crepe had a hard crust and had no flavor. Also there was only half of one banana inside and some Nutella. There was too much void space compared to other crepes I’ve had with the same contents. For 245 Baht, I would expect at least a whole banana considering the cost to make this was probably 30 Baht.
As for the Papaya juice, when it came out it was all crushed ice and some juice. Before I wrote off the juice, I asked the waiter if the ice was made with filtered water. He said no. I told him I could not drink it but he would not take it off my bill.
So my experience was not that great at all. With the lack of ingredients and poor customer service for not taking the juice off my bill it is unlikely I would give it another chance with so many options in Bangkok. I’m guessing they had an off day considering this place is highly rated. Anyway, clearly not consistent.
